Grans Moments – Cava brut nature

Grans Moments Cava Brut Nature

According to my sources, this cava was specially formulated for the Nordic market to be a bit drier than the usual cava. Grans Moments Cava from Spain is excellent and something to remember the next time you swing through the Vinmonopolet! This excellent cava is made in the method traditionelle, has a lovely mouse and dry, fresh taste. Normally we drink Freixenet (which we love) and if we’re feeling fancy, something we brought back from Champagne, but this is very likely to end up as our house bubbly. Here’s what the Norwegian press is saying about this product:

Grans Moments Cava Brut Nature Nr. 49632 Kr. 100 Bestillingsvare, men finnes i mange polutsalg En billig og samtidig god, knusktørr musserende er ingen selvfølgelig kombinasjon. Denne friske og ganske så fyldige spanjolen er et godt alternativ når budsjettet bestemmer. 86 p

They’re saying it’s inexpensive, nice and dry, fresh and a great budget alternative. Note that this costs 100 NOK – it sell for 5 pounds sterling in the UK, 7 Euros in the Eurozone. So it’s roughly twice the price up here in good ol’ Norge/Noreg!

Note: The Norsk Vinmonopolet frequently has this one on backorder, so you may need to order it from the service counter, and they´ll send you a text when they´ve got it in again.
